What goes into a Formula 1 weekend

Behind the scenes: F&B at Formula 1 speed

The Belgian Grand Prix attracts more than 100,000 visitors to Spa-Francorchamps each day. Behind that visitor experience lies meticulous advance planning of food units, zones, power supplies and replenishment.

On 19 July 2026, the Belgian Formula 1 Grand Prix once again takes centre stage at the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps. For Bevers & Bevers, however, a weekend like this begins long before the first visitor enters the site.

At an event of this scale, every detail is planned in advance. Food units and zones are carefully positioned, taking account of available space, power supplies, accessibility and replenishment. Every decision on the plan will later have consequences on site.

The build makes that preparation visible. Units are moved into position, facilities are connected and logistics routes are prepared for a weekend in which more than 100,000 visitors move through the different zones each day. The objective is simple: to ensure the organisation behind the scenes can match the pace and intensity of Formula 1.

The video and photographs below offer a look at the build and show how a large-scale F&B setting takes shape step by step at Spa-Francorchamps.
